As far as I am concerned, I give you that Sex and the City didn't age quite well, with Carries and Mister Bigs weird relationship. The younger generation of folks are way more aware of toxic behavior and see the red flags in their togetherness raging like a wildfire. Today, we would say: Classic Situationship.
But as a full time working single mom of two kids trying to navigate life, sharing custody, dating and philosophically thinking about the world we live in, Carrie is some sort of inspiration for my texts, because she was present in her articles and wrote from her point of view, being vulnerable, honest and aware of her limitations as just one single being in a vast sea of experiences. I always write from my point of view and more importantly - as a Cultural and Social Anthropologist at heart. So, I give some scientific insights from time to time and mix ithem with life experiences or essayistic thoughts about life.
Attending Friedl Kubelkas "Schule für künstlerische Fotografie" left it's inprint in the way I see the world and take photos as well. One could say, I'm a bit of a weird Cocktail.
