For Our Earth

For Our Earth

By Yuling ZHANG

The event organized by the HCD Earthcare Culture Association on the theme “For Our Earth” took place on the 28th of this month at the Bassena Am Schöpfwerk and was a great success. With a diverse program, the public’s attention was drawn to the future of the Earth, animals, and nature. Numerous paintings with the theme “Protecting Animals” were exhibited on site, vividly conveying the idea of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. At the same time, several books on nature topics were presented, which aroused great interest among the audience. Dr. Harvey Dzodin, Chairman of the HCD Earthcare Culture Association, delivered an important speech in which he emphasized the significance of environmental education and everyday action for the sustainable development of the Earth.

Particularly highlighted was the work “The Self in Harmony with Nature”, which documented the deep connection between humans and nature through images and texts. A highlight of the exhibition was the painting “The Story of the Weasel and Xiao Yi”. The comparison between the first and last picture inspired visitors to profound reflections on life and ecology.

Many visitors expressed that they were deeply inspired by the event. They realized that love for nature and protection of the Earth is not just an idea, but should be reflected in the everyday actions of each individual. “The Earth is our common home – let us start with small things to preserve its beauty and its future together.”
